Binge watching. Whether you’re hooked on the latest adventures happening in Stranger Things, or you’re keeping everything crossed in the hope that your favourite Game of Thrones character doesn’t get killed off. Every couple is guilty of it and it’s easy to get into the habit of doing just that. So switch off instead of switching on and head out on a real adventure together in the great outdoors.

We’ve got lots of things to do as a couple, all based in the stunning New Forest National Park. So if you’re looking to ban the Netflix binge, you’re on a couples holiday or you’ve quite simply got a child-free afternoon, New Forest Activities has got you covered.

Canoe Explorer Jump into a canoe for two and explore the stunning Beaulieu River during this 2.5-hour session. Your instructor will teach you both the techniques you need to know to paddle effectively, before enjoying a relaxing paddle through the hidden creeks and waterways of the river’s nature reserve. Perhaps enjoy a little bird-watching as opposed to binge-watching?

Paddle to the Pub There’s nothing quite like enjoying a refreshment in a sunny pub garden. So why not combine it with an enjoyable 90-minute paddle out on the river? We’ll paddle from our canoeing site at Bailey’s Hard to the Master Builder’s Hotel on the riverside where you can enjoy a drink together in the sunshine

Kayaking Adventure Our single-seat touring kayaks combined with the expert guidance of our instructors enable you to quickly get to grips with kayaking. You’ll then be ready to explore the natural beauty of the only privately owned estuary in the UK on a 3-hour guided adventure. No experience is required!

Kayak Hire Or perhaps you’d like to head out on your own paddle together? If so, we recommend hiring a couple of our stable, sit-on-top kayaks. We’ll give you all the kit you need and a map of the river before sending you on your way, leaving you free to explore and splash about in the river’s calm waters.

Big Shot Archery Our Big Shot Archery sessions are for those 12 years and up, meaning we can teach you the technique and get you on the firing line quickly. Our instructors will be on hand to help you hone your skills, with plenty of time for scoring competitions and challenges.

Full-Day Cycle Hire Hire some bikes from us and hit the road! Stop for a hearty pub lunch along the way, or pack a picnic instead. With a variety of cycle maps to choose from, we’ll help you plan out the perfect route for a day exploring and discovering all the wonderful things The New Forest has to offer.
