Standalone Activities
Ideal for evening sessions, half days or as part of your own camp programme.
Canoe & Kayak Tours
Explore the stunning Beaulieu River with our guided canoe and kayak tours. A brilliant way for young people to build confidence on the water, enjoy the wildlife and experience the calming effect of time outside in a safe and supportive environment.
Battlezone
Fast-paced, action-packed laser tag style fun in the great outdoors. Perfect for encouraging teamwork, communication and a bit of friendly competition between patrols, houses or teams – all while burning off energy in the fresh air.
Archery & Bushcraft
Combine target skills with core campcraft. Young people can try their hand at archery before learning bushcraft essentials like fire lighting and simple shelter building. Great for badge work, building independence and showing what’s possible when you step away from screens and into the woods.
High & Low Ropes
From ground-level challenges to confidence-building high elements, our ropes activities help young people test themselves at a level that feels right for them. Brilliant for trust, communication and celebrating those “I didn’t think I could do that!” moments in the fresh air.

We've been working with New Forest Activities for many years, we know that they work also with the Prince's Trust charity directly. The reputation that they have, and the openness and friendliness that they have, not just with the young people, but also for us as staff and the support that they provide us means that we consistently, continually come back to them.
Youth Groups FAQs
The questions youth leaders ask most often when planning a visit.
Do we need consent forms or waivers?
Yes. All young people will need consent and medical information recorded before taking part in activities. This can be summarised from your own existing forms, or we can send you a link to our online consent forms for parents and guardians to complete.
How do we share medical information and additional needs?
We just need a clear summary of any medical conditions, allergies or additional needs for each young person. You can provide this from your own forms, or via our online system. Our team review everything ahead of your visit so we can plan any reasonable adjustments and make sure everyone can take part safely and comfortably.
What about risk assessments and insurance?
We’re fully insured and can provide risk assessments for all activities. These are available as soon as you’re at the planning stage, to support your internal approvals, letters home and wider paperwork.
Do leaders and staff need to join in?
Our instructors lead the sessions, but we do ask that leaders are actively involved in supporting behaviour, supervision and encouragement. Some leaders love to take part in the activities too – and that’s absolutely fine!
What should our group wear and bring?
We recommend comfy outdoor clothing, layers, waterproofs and closed-toe footwear. For water-based sessions, we’ll send a full kit list, including a change of clothes and a towel. All specialist safety equipment is provided by us.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We run in most weather conditions and adapt the session to keep everyone safe and having fun outdoors. If high winds, storms or other extreme conditions make it unsafe, we’ll get in touch to adjust the programme or arrange a new date.
How do bookings, payments and numbers work?
Once we’ve agreed your programme, your booking is confirmed with a deposit based on your best guess of numbers. We know group sizes can change slightly, so final numbers are confirmed nearer the time and the balance is due one month before your activity date.
Can you help us choose the right activities for our group?
Absolutely. Tell us about your age range, group size, needs and what you’d like your young people to get out of the experience, and we’ll recommend a programme that fits – whether that’s a single session, packaged activities or a multi-day residential.
