New Forest Campsites

If you’re looking for a scenic UK staycation, then the New Forest and its many campsites is the perfect place to visit. New Forest campsites are in abundance, so it can be intimidating when choosing the one that fits you and your family. At New Forest Activities, we know our stuff about the places to stay near us and that’s why we’ve created this list of some of our favourites!

Lepe Meadows Campsite

Lepe Meadows Campsite, is within walking distance of the ever popular tourist destination of Lepe Beach with the option of either a pre-erected tent or a pitch for your own tent. Campfires are allowed, and they provide wood and a fire pit hire for an additional cost. There’s plenty to do, as Lepe is known for its crabbing and modern cafe.

Muddy Creek Campsite

This campsite is open on select days in the summer, but is the perfect base to explore the New Forest. Ponies roam on site and they even have a Friday pizza night! This site is a 10 minute walk away from Milford village centre where there are plenty of quant village shops and places to grab a bite to eat.

Long Meadow Campsite

Long Meadow Campsite is within walking distance of Brockenhurst village and has 100 pitches in a 19-acre meadow. In the height of summer you can expect on-site catering with yummy breakfasts, lunches and dinners. You can opt for a choice of electric hook ups, grass or hard standing.

If you’re looking for coastal views, this ones for you! They offer a range of accommodation including motorhomes and caravans and dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead. This site is family run and is quietly situated off the beaten track between Lymington and Milford-on-Sea in the New Forest.

Verwood Camping and Caravan Site

Verwood Campsite is very dog-friendly and it even has a designated dog walk nearby. With well kept pitches and local pubs, this ones the perfect pick for a couples getaway. Why not take a day trip to Moors Valley Country Park for scenic walking routes and children’s play trails during your stay?
