New Forest Wildlife Spotting Guide
24 October 2017

During the Autumn season, leaves start changing colour and the days become increasingly shorter. This is the time of year when you can discover different types of wildlife, especially in the New Forest. With pigs, ponies, donkeys, deer and more roaming the forest. Or if you’re a bird watcher, there are plenty of birds to be found in the abundance of woodland.
What's more, we have plenty of activities available for you to see the wildlife of the New Forest. Why not hire a bike and cycle amongst the ponies, or do a bit of bird watching whilst paddling along the Beaulieu River Nature Reserve? If you're lucky, you might even spot our activity dogs Prim or Chip out on the water!
