Top 5 Last Minute Halloween Costumes for Kids

It’s happened to the best of us. Before we know it, it’s Halloween Eve, the kids have been talking about trick or treating all week. You’ve just rushed into your local supermarket (admittedly a little last minute) to grab them something to wear - only to find that all of the Halloween costumes for kids have sold out.

But don’t fret, because we’ve put together a list of Halloween costume hacks that’ll not only use everyday items from around the house but will also give you and the kids a chance to get creative!

All you need are some empty plastic bottles, paint and tissue paper to put together a costume that’s out of this world.

Simply attach some ribbons or tissue paper strips to an umbrella to create this incredible jellyfish costume. The added bonus being that you’re sure to stay dry!

Or be a little less conventional with your umbrella and create these bat wings.

Grab some toilet rolls and get wrapping with this simple Mummy costume.

Or why not grab a pack of balloons and transform your tot into this cute bunch of grapes?

All these ideas are super quick and easy to put together and we’d be interested to hear about any other ideas that you might have. And if you really want to showcase your creations, why not book the family onto one of our Halloween Activities? We’re doing a Spooky Halloween River Tour where we’ll paddle down the Beaulieu River after nightfall. Or, Haunted Battlefield LIVE where you’ll encounter ghosts and ghouls at every turn. And of course, fancy dress is a requirement with the best dressed winning a prize!

Give us a call at our booking office on 01590 612377 or alternatively click here book your place online.

We look forward to seeing you… If you dare.
