Whether you’re planning a school visit, youth group adventure, corporate team day or a social get-together, we’ll help you build a programme that fits your group and your goals.
We deliver everything using a challenge by choice approach — meaning people can get involved at a level that feels right for them. Some love the big moments up in the trees. Others prefer keeping it grounded and focusing on teamwork, communication and problem solving. Both are brilliant (and both are encouraged).
This is a groups-only venue with a minimum group size of 8.
High Ropes Challenges
Our high ropes sessions are instructor led and use a traditional belayed climbing system. Participants take on individual aerial challenges while supported by our team and encouraged by their group below.
Unlike continuous high ropes courses, these activities are built around confidence, trust and those “I didn’t think I could do that!” moments — with plenty of time for coaching and celebrating progress.
Ideal for groups who want to build confidence, resilience and team spirit in an unforgettable setting.
Low Ropes & Team Challenges
Our low ropes course and woodland team challenges focus on communication, leadership and problem solving. Groups work together through a series of fun, supportive challenges that encourage trust and collaboration.
This is a great option for groups who want a more grounded experience — or as a perfect balance alongside the high ropes.
- Teamwork & communication
- Group problem solving
- Trust & leadership
- Loads of laughs in the woodland

High Ropes & Woodland Challenges FAQs
The questions groups ask most often when planning their woodland activity day.
Who can take part in the ropes course?
Our ropes activities are available for groups of 8 or more. We regularly host schools, youth groups, corporate teams and social groups. Everything is delivered using a challenge by choice approach, so people can take part at a level that feels right for them.
What is the difference between high ropes and low ropes?
High ropes are individual and team challenges up in the trees with participants wearing climbing equipment and supported by a belay system led by our instructors.
Low ropes are closer to the ground and focus on teamwork, communication and problem solving — ideal for groups who want a more grounded experience or a great balance alongside the high ropes.
Do we need any experience?
No — beginners are very welcome. Our instructors provide full guidance and safety briefings, and the activities are designed to be inclusive while still offering plenty of challenge for those who want it.
Can we combine the ropes course with other activities?
Yes — and it’s often the best option. Many groups combine ropes challenges with archery, bushcraft and team challenges to create a rounded woodland day.
Half-day programmes typically include 2 activities. Full-day programmes typically include 3 or 4 activities.
What should participants wear?
Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing and bring layers suitable for the weather. Closed-toe footwear (trainers or walking shoes) is required.
We recommend waterproofs in changeable weather, as sessions take place outdoors in the woodland.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We run in most weather conditions and will adapt the programme to keep everyone safe and having fun outdoors. If strong winds or extreme conditions make the high ropes unsafe, we’ll get in touch to adjust your programme or rearrange the activity.
Where is the ropes course located?
Our ropes and team challenges are based in woodland just outside Beaulieu village in the New Forest. We’ll confirm arrival details, parking and meeting points during the booking process.
How do we book?
Ropes activities are booked as part of a group programme. The best place to start is to send us an enquiry with your group size, preferred date and the kind of day you’d like — adventurous, relaxed or a blend — and we’ll recommend the right plan.
