New Forest Activities office team

Work at the heart of adventure

New Forest Activities is part of National Park Activities, delivering outdoor experiences, team-building events, residential trips and family adventures in the New Forest.

Our instructors are out on the water and in the woods — but none of it happens without a strong, organised, positive office team behind the scenes.

That’s where you come in.

This apprenticeship is designed for someone who is keen to learn, confident speaking to people, and excited by the idea of hitting targets and helping customers have a brilliant experience.

We don’t expect you to know everything — we’ll teach you. What we need is the right attitude.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll learn the full sales and customer journey — from first enquiry to post-activity follow-up.

Sales & Bookings

Answer calls and messages, respond to enquiries, write proposals, convert leads into bookings and make sure every booking is profitable and well organised.

Customer Experience

Guide customers through the booking process, send preparation information, follow up after events and help maintain feedback scores above 4.8.

CRM & Systems

Use our CRM daily, keep records accurate, learn sales scripts and help improve processes. You’ll gain real commercial experience — not just admin tasks.

Team Support

Work closely with instructors and operations to ensure events run smoothly. Coordinate with suppliers and support the general running of the office.

What we’re looking for

We’re investing in one person — so attitude matters.

You’ll be proactive, organised and comfortable speaking to customers on the phone. You’ll enjoy working towards targets and take pride in doing things properly.

You’ll be confident using computers (or willing to learn quickly), open to feedback, and keen to develop professionally.

If you’re ambitious, positive, and genuinely interested in building a career in sales, customer service or business operations — this is a strong foundation.

Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 (seasonal adjustments may apply)
The office is open 7 days a week (closed Sundays during winter).
Weekend working will be required on a rolling rota.

Salary: ÂŁ8.00 per hour, 40 hours per week + 28 days paid holiday.

Due to our rural location (Hazel Copse Farm, Beaulieu), reliable transport is essential.

Ready to start something bigger?

This apprenticeship gives you structured training, real responsibility, and the chance to grow within a fast-paced outdoor business.

If you want more than “just a job” — and you’re ready to commit — we’d love to hear from you.
