Bartley Lodge - The Oranger

The Bartley Lodge hotel is our ‘Classic Country’ hotel – grade II listed and set in 8 acres of grounds overlooking the New Forest National Park. It is located down a tree lined driveway with direct access to the forest, within easy reach of the M27 motorway, and also conveniently near to Southampton’s air and train links.

The hotel has all the facilities you’ll need for an unforgettable stay; with open space, 40 cosy bedrooms and a leisure pool. Bartley Lodge boasts many period features such as a gallery staircase and oak panelled rooms and we use local produce in our restaurant and are proud of our AA rosette for culinary excellence.

The Bartley Lodge Hotel is also well-known by historians, once the home of the famous geologist Charles Lyell, a man who not only changed the way the world viewed the formation of the Earth, but was also an influential friend of Charles Darwin.

For business events or away days there are three conference rooms, free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and up to 100 delegates can be seated at any one time. The magnificent, oak-panelled Baronial Hall provides an excellent venue for hosting conferences or corporate dinners with both air conditioning and natural daylight.

Our established gardens are ideal for group activities such as archery or team challenges and we offer all inclusive delegate packages to include half a day of activities in partnership with New Forest Activities. Designed to take the hassle out of organising corporate events; you will have one point of contact for the entire event, and a choice of a great range of activities to suit your group.

Stay with us at Bartley Lodge Hotel, it may be easy to find, but we think you’ll find it hard to leave.
