Meet The New Forest Activities Team
Who are the friendly faces behind New Forest Activities?
We enjoy our work and it’s always a pleasure to meet new people and help you find what you enjoy about this wonderful National Park.
Rich Pearsall & Sam Sutton started Liquid Logistics in 2003 on Beaulieu River in the New Forest. The business expanded in 2009 to become New Forest Activities. Our team has grown in strength over the years and in 2016 we have a fantastic office team and some of the most talented instructors we’ve come across. You’re sure of a great course and brilliant adventures on the water.
Starting and running New Forest Activities has been a great adventure. Its a pleasure to meet new people who share a love of the great outdoors. I became hooked on Paddling at university and still find it an exciting and challenging sport. I am very proud of what we have built over our first 10 years and know there will be a lot more excitement over the next 10.
In 2003, our university dream started to become reality and we’ve been living it ever since. I love the expression of nature and The New Forest demonstrates this beautifully. Wild spaces, wild animals and ancient trees, you can really sense our connection to the past and witness how we’re shaping our future. It’s great to be part of something bigger than yourself!

Studying Outdoor Ed at Uni gave me a great insight into the wonderful world of outdoor pursuits. My job gives me the opportunity to help other people to enjoy this wonderful
I work in the most prime outdoor location in the country, what else can I say? I’m the geek of the company, usually running around taking photos and videos of happy clients on activities! If I’m not doing any of that I’ll be around on the water (or land!) with clients and enjoying the Beaulieu river. See the videos at FreeWave!
I’ve been here since the start and I am now looking after all our Battlefield LIVE equipment and gaming. I enjoy spending time developing the game areas; it keeps players on their toes as it’s never the same twice.
Hey I’m Chris! Having studied outdoor education at college I always found I had a passion for the outdoors. As I’m qualified in all of our activities you may see me whether you’re on the water or the land. I find it very rewarding making each person’s experience one to remember and I look forward to showing you what we have to offer and making it a fun filled day!
